Watermelon Todo is an AI-powered to-do app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. You capture tasks by talking; on-device AI shapes each one — date, list, priority and the right kind of progress — and writes you a plan in the morning and a recap at night. It is private by default: capture, transcription and analysis run on your device first, with no account to create and nothing to track.

What Watermelon Todo does

Voice capture. Hold a button and talk. On-device transcription hears you out and the AI splits one recording into several separate tasks, each with its own date and shape — in English or Chinese.
AI that shapes every task. It finds the date, picks the progress type, sorts the task into the right list and sets priority. The AI stays invisible until it actually helps.
Five ways to track real progress. A checkbox only knows “done” or “not.” Watermelon logs real progress instead — percent, a count, a checklist, stages or notes — all with timestamped history.
Edit by voice. Press and hold any task and say the change: “push to Friday,” “add buy milk,” “mark high priority.”
Daily summaries. A morning plan and an evening recap, written by AI from your own tasks.
Sync, Calendar and widgets. Tasks, lists, projects and progress stay synced across iPhone, iPad and Mac; due tasks flow into Apple Calendar; home-screen widgets keep today one glance away.

What we believe

Three principles guide the app:

Private by default. Your tasks are yours. Voice and AI work on-device first; cloud AI is an optional boost, never a wall. There is no account and no tracking.
AI is invisible until it helps. The best available engine is chosen automatically — on supported iPhones that means Apple Intelligence, right on the chip. You never have to configure a provider. Pro users can also bring their own OpenAI-compatible API key.
Progress, one bite at a time. You don’t eat a watermelon in one bite, and most real tasks aren’t one bite either. The app is built to show the messy middle, not just the finish line.

Watermelon Todo is an independent app built and maintained by its founder, feiou. It is designed for iOS 17 and later and is a free download on the App Store, with optional Pro and Plus upgrades for cloud-grade AI and power features.
